Where do you find restaurants selling cat & dog meat?
These restaurants aren’t common and you may not even see them while traveling in Vietnam, however, they still exist in every city, especially in northern Vietnam’s rural area and you may see vendors selling dog meat in wet markets in countrysides.
Although many in Vietnam are against eating dog and cat meat, a well growing number now only see these animals as pets rather than food. The animal welfare movement continues to gain traction, despite facing ridicule. One charity even operates a vegan restaurant where visitors can meet and adopt rescued animals.
